Dean, I wonder if you've had any contact with Brendon Burns in the last year? I saw his show at edinburgh and he came across as a bit holier than thou after coming out of rehab, a bit 'twelve-steppy' if you know what I mean. It was a very thoughtful show, a very funny show, but I was left feeling that I wouldn't want to spend any time with the guy in real life so I was just wondering if you know whether this is merely a stage persona he has developed?

i knew he had gone to rehab and i hoped to myself that it wouldn't be the final installment in his show. i'm guessing it was.
i thought it seemed to be the obvious choice that he wouldn't make.
guess he did.
ah well.
that happens to folks who go through aa. the thing that doesn't work.
